I have only good things to say about Mr Mazis. He is a gentleman and extremely empathetic. My reverse shoulder total replacement went very well and my care was wonderful. I highly recommend him as a lovely person and a great surgeon.

Mr Mazis, Dr Oliver Adebeyo, Beth (sec) and Denise(? Admissions admin) have all been very kind, whilst arranging my recent procedure undertaken at Practice Plus, Ilford. At every out-patient appointment at Queen’s Hospital I have been treated with the utmost care and consideration and advised and informed every step of the way. As a member of staff it’s always eye-opening to be “on the other side” receiving treatment and without doubt I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Mazis and his Team. Thank you!

Dr Mazis is a phenomenal surgeon. He has a caring approach to his patients with amazing bedside manner. I cannot fault him in any way. I am very pleased with my reverse shoulder replacemen surgery and aftercare. I would recommend Dr Mazis to anybody with any orthopaedic needs. He is not only very professional but also a lovely man. Thank you so much for your care and service. Second to none on all levels.

I was treated by Mr Mazis at the Practice Plus Group Hospital in Ilford on 17th July 2021. I suffered for several years from recurring dislocations of my right shoulder sometimes from just simply stretching. My surgery was on a Saturday morning and I was discharged with my arm in a sling later on that afternoon. My procedure included, 'Examination under anaesthesia, diagnostic arthroscopy and arthroscopic anterior stabilisation. I suffered minimal pain and discomfort and followed the surgeons instructions keeping my arm in a sling for seven weeks and avoiding strenuous physical activity. I am now eight weeks post op and my shoulder feels stronger than ever. I am close to full movement and no longer have the constant fear of dislocation. Thank you Franklyn

Mr Mazis is such a lovely doctor, he is very easy to talk too and listens to your concerns. The day of my operation he could see I was anxious about the op and agreed to my wishes of being fully sedated as the other option was stressing me out. The aftercare and all appointments was very thorough and a very caring environment. Would definitely reccoment him.
